Ermenegildo Zegna opened its first boutique in Paris in 1980.
Ermenegildo Zegna is an Italian fashion house known for producing quality menswear since 1910. The house was originally founded by E.Zegna and remains a family business today, under management by the fourth generation of the Zegna family.The company produces every aspect of its clothing, from fabric to finished product. The Zegna Wool Mill was also founded in 1910 and produces the fabric used in Zegna suits. The company is one of the biggest producers of fine fabrics in the world, producing more than 2.3 million meters of wool per year. In addition to their own high-quality suits, Zegna also produces wool suits for other designers including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Tom Ford. Zegna is known for its commitment to quality, exploration of technology and improvements in wool production.
Manufacturing began in 1910, and by the 1930s, the mill employed more than 1,000 workers. Ermenegildo`s sons Aldo and Angelo joined the family business in 1942, and took over after their father passed away in 1966. Under their leadership, a second factory was opened in Spain, and eventually Switzerland. Today, Zegna has eight manufacturing facilities around the world, and the company offers ready-made suits in addition to made-to-order suits.

Zegna`s offerings have expanded to include a full range of menswear, including suits, neckties, kntiwear, shirts, accessories and fragrances.The first fragrance from Zegna was offered in conjunction with YSL Beaute. The company signed a new licensing agreement for the production of fragrances with Estee Lauder Companies in 2011.
Designer Ermenegildo Zegna has 32 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1992 and the newest is from 2016. Ermenegildo.Z fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Alain Muraour, Rosendo Mateu, Alberto Morillas, Jacques Cavallier, Pierre Negrin, Frank Voelkl, Harry Fremont, Antoine Lie, Olivier Gillotin, Trudi Loren and Daniela (Roche) Andrier.
