Halle Berry

Halle Berry, born in 1966, is a famous actress from the USA. She entered several beauty contests before she was eventually crowned Miss Ohio in 1986 and took part in the 1986 Miss World Contest which she finished as 5th runner-up. In order to pursue a successful career as a model she moved to Illinois. It did not take long before she made her acting debut in the show Living Dolls. But it was not until Jungle Fever, a movie in which she played the character of a drug addict named Vivian, that she was critically acclaimed for her acting.

She has starred in several movies, among them are Boomerang with Eddie Murphy, Executive Decision with Kurt Russell, the X-Men series with Hugh Jackman and Famke Janssen and more. She received a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for her role in the movie Monster`s Ball from 2001. In the following year she starred as Jinx in the James Bond movie Die Another Day. It was also Berry who played the role of Catwoman in the 2005 movie.

As well as being an actress Halle is also involved in movie production. Among the movies titles that list her as a producer are Lackawanna Blues and Perfect Stranger. In 2007 when Halle was already one of the highest-paid actresses she was finally awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.Halle Berry has been married twice in the past. She was married to Eric Benét, a musician, whose daughter she adopted. From 2005 to 2010 she was in a relationship with model Gabriel Aubry whom she has a daughter with. Since 2010 she is dating Olivier Martinez.

H.Berry has been the face of Revlon for many years and has also starred in a campaign for Versace. Finally, in 2008 she entered a licensing agreement with Coty in order to market her own fragrances.
