The theme of the fragrance is inspired by the summer Olympics to be held in London in 2012, the scent is dedicated to energy and physical endurance of top athletes. Giorgio Armani is head designer of the Italian Olympic team participating in this Year’s London Olympics 2012. "I have long been inspired by sportsmen, who are like modern-day gladiators. They have an impressive dedication to their goals." says Giorgio Armani. The release of the new Armani Code Sport Athlete is perfect for the occasion. The fragrance is cool and refreshing and the opening is subtly colored blue with top notes of citrus and ginger and pink peppercorns. The body of the fragrance is a trio of mints masterfully blended livening up the fragrance with icy and ultramodern zest. The finish is a sophisticated mix of carnal ambrox, elegant vetiver and addictive incense.
