Juliette Has A Gun is a fragrance project of Romano Ricci, Nina Ricci`s grandson, initiated in 2005. According to plans, this fragrance line will have five women`s fragrances based on rose scent, as rose is the best gift by a man in love to the lady of his heart. Edgy fragrance house Juliette Has A Gun was born in 2005 out of Romano Ricci`s love of Shakespeare and romanticism. To truly carve out its own niche in the saturated fragrance industry, Juliette Has a Gun has focused upon dandyish product design, rich fragrances and tongue-in-cheek names to capture the imagination of their audience.
Their fragrance debut came with the double launch of the Miss Charming and Lady Vengeance scents in 2006, each perfume representing the duality of Romano`s central Juliette character, her lightness and her darkness. These two initial fragrances were co-created by elusive master perfumer Francis Kurkdijian, the nose of the iconic Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male and Narciso Rodriguez For Her fragrances.
